Nomades

La région de la #mauricie ne manque pas de bonne disitlleries! Ma dernière découverte du coin: @spiritueux_nomades . Pour cette distillerie de la région de Trois-rivière, leur mission, c’est “la rencontre des saveurs riches du terroir d’ici et du monde”. Leur objectif sera toujours d’offrir “des produits aux structures aromatiques complexes et complètes”. Avec leur premier gin, on en a un bel exemple, checker-moi ça la liste d’aromates!!

Les ingrédients principaux

Baie de genévrier

Baie de cubèbe

Écorce de Lime

Concombre

Sapin baumier

Cardamome verte

Graine de coriandre

Et qu’est-ce que ça donne en bouche?

Des notes fraîches de lime, de citron suivi par une touche de petits fruits rouge et par un goût boréal/sapiné et épicé. Le concombre apparaît en toute fin, combiné a une légère chaleur mais qui ne vient pas de l’alcool, mais plutôt, il me semble, du gingembre/cannelle/wasabi.

Leur gin est fait en collaboration avec la distillerie @les_subversifs (dans le coin de #soreltracy ) et les magnifiques images sont fait par l’artiste @cathybelanger.art

The #mauricie region has A LOT of good disitlleries! My latest discovery in the area: @spiritueux_nomades , in the Trois-Rivière region. Their mission is "to bring together the rich flavors of the terroir here and around the world". Their goal will always be to offer “products with complex and complete aromatic structures”. With their first gin, we have a good example!

The main ingredients:

Juniper berry

Cubeb berry

Lime bark

Cucumber

Balsam fir

Green cardamom

Coriander seed

Complementary ingredients:

Basil

Cinnamon

Ginger

Mint

Apple

Wasabi

Fir

Lemon

Fennel

Green tea

And what does it taste like?

Fresh notes of lime, lemon followed by a touch of red berries and followed by a boreal and spicy taste. The cucumber appears at the very end, combined with a slight heat but which does not come from the alcohol, but rather, it seems to me, from the ginger/cinnamon/wasabi.

Their gin is made in collaboration with the distillery @les_subversifs (in the #soreltracy area) and the beautiful images are made by the artist @cathybelanger.art
